New Community Gardens
In addition to the £5,000 already secured from Lambeth Council’s clean air fund, we’ve secured an additional £8,000 for our new community garden on Ethelred from the Mayor’s Grow Back Greener fund. The bid was developed in partnership with Incredible Edible Lambeth, and will be used to create a new space for nature and community food growing on Ethelred, providing a template and catalyst for transforming the way housing land is managed across the borough. In addition to existing gardening projects on Thorlands and the recently commissioned garden on Metra, we’re happy to say we’re delivering on our community development plans and resident feedback in making shared gardening spaces a priority for our London estates.
