We know that many people are finding things hard at the moment and are missing get out and seeing friends and neighbours. We know now that restrictions are going to be in place for a long time yet and we want to try put things in place that will make this easier for people and give them opportunities to see and talk to other people. However, for many people the thought of using IT and social media is a very scary prospect and many are reluctant to have a go. Those that have had a go though will tell you that it has been a great experience and they have got so much from it and are keen to do it again.

We want to try to support people to stay connected and are looking at partnering with Bringing Communities Together to do just this. We would like to establish regular opportunities for our residents to get together and have a chat and maybe do a few fun activities. If you would like to know more about this then please let me know. Please don’t let the idea of having to use IT stop you, we can and will support you through this.
